Welcome to our home and B & B. Named by local residents when the logs started arriving on site in 2006, it reminded them of the ranch in the old television show "Bonanza". Visitors are surprised to learn that the house was handcrafted by Nova Scotia craftsmen using Nova Scotia red and white pine logs, some 45 feet long and 18" in diameter. We are located between Sydney and North Sydney on route 239; only 10 minutes from either location and short drive to Louisbourg, the Miner's Museum and the Highland Village. We have two rooms in our house, each with a queen bed and three piece ensuite bath. These rooms have a common loft area with a fridge, satellite TV, cribbage table and vintage Ms Pac Man machine, to name a few items. The larger of the two rooms easily accommodates a single roll-a-way bed. Our Coach House features private access with an elevated deck, a queen bed, 3 piece ensuite bath, and a sitting room with a sofa-bed, fridge, microwave and tv. Wireless internet is available in all rooms. Connie's breakfasts are raved about and no one goes away hungry. We look forward to welcoming you!
